Since February? Yep!
2023 has been a crazy year. I have been working on making music videos for my songs from It's About Time. I am also working up new music with a vocalist (the name of whom will be revealed in time). 2024 is already looking good for new music and more live performances!
Last, all I can say is that there will be more improvements here, such as the Newsletter that I've been threatening to do for what seems like forever, and get any current updates to you sooner! I'm been much more active on social media and YouTube and I want this site to also contain some great items!

Hey everybody!
Well, it's almost August and there is a bunch happening musically. I'm involved, in addition to my own music, with a new writing project with an amazing vocalist. 14 songs in total and we'll be beginning the recording process very soon!
It's a great time, we're enjoying the possibilities of where the music will lead us creatively. I will be sharing more with you as time wears on so that is something to look forward to in the months ahead.
My own music is progressing as well. The album is still titled 'Year of the Bison' and I have just a little more music to write for the remaining batch of lyrics.
I picked up a new recording package to do all the recording with, so it's also been a time of learning the new software.
Plenty of new stuff happening! Stay tuned for more music and news this year!

New month, new news to share!!
Writing continues towards my next album 'Year of the Bison'. I have six songs towards this effort and there are three more to write. There will also be an instrumental track titled "It's About Time", which was the name of my previous album, but no relation other than it's the album title. This album will also be a full band effort, not just acoustic like my previous album, which is available here for CD purchase or Download. Just go to the Store tab.

Welcome to March and the latest update!!
Plenty of music happening!

I will also be holding a LIVE Chat on Instagram Thursday, March 10, 2022, 7 p.m. EST.
So, speaking of music....the next album is titled "Year of the Bison". The concepts touched on relate to prosperity, truth, unity, strength, freedom, and manifestation. There will be 11 songs on the album!
The track listing , in no particular order, is as follows:

-Let Those Old Things Die

-Devise and Devices
-In The Time I Have Left
-Empty & Hollow
-Wheel of Misfortune

-I'm Here
-Chip Off Your Shoulder

Very excited about these songs!! There are only 3 songs left to write music for, as all of the lyrics have been written. The lyrics may change, depending on the how the music helps or hinders the overall phrasing.
At this stage of the process the existing new tunes are in performance shape. Recording demos to hear everything back and then keep things as they are or make slight changes...no need so far!
It's been a great streak of creativity from 2021 into 2022! I'm happy that this is the case so I'm taking the ride, letting The Muse do it's thing, presenting the ideas for me to shape words and music towards real world result to share!
Lastly, I am working on some other things that involve streaming, which you can also do here, and spread my music further. I'll be sharing that news when it happens!

It's that time of year again......Recording Season!!!
Four new songs up on the recording block and I'm very much looking forward to beginning the process all over again.
The heart of activity over the past couple of months has been lyrics and musical arrangement. I'm also using the tentative title "Year of the Bison" which I feel fits the feelings I have concerning the future, a year of prosperity and good things all around (an end to the pandemic would be nice!).
As far as performances goes I hope to do some outdoor shows this year performing all original music, but not completely ruling out doing cover songs.
I may also do separate Facebook and Instagram Live events in March. I will announce those dates very soon so have a return visit back here, or join the Mailing List for when those will be occurring. I'm also on TikTok so I'll be letting people know when any Live event occurs on that platform as well.

Soooo....what can I tell ya?
Still have my four songs that I am running through in order to record:

These songs may be released as an EP or on a full length album release. We'll see what the future brings! Either way, new music will still be created throughout the year.

Happy New Year!!!
It's been a bit between posts. Hope you're doing well.
My new album is doing well and and already beginning to record the next album. It may be a full length release or perhaps a four song EP...we'll see.
I'm looking into a variety of avenues/platforms to get the music out to everyone.
The four songs that I'm working up towards recording are: "I'm Here", "Infuse", "Empty", and "Chip Off Your Shoulder". No album title yet, but the working title is "Year of the Bison".
I'm now on TikTok in addition to Instagram.
My plan is to be much more active here on the website.

Hello!
November has been an interesting month. A good amount of change, my album was released on November 16.
The Store is officially open where you can buy the CD for $10.00 or download separate tracks for just $1.50!!
I will be holding another Instagram Live event. I will update the event here and on my calendar when the date is set!
Also in the works is the release of an album of classical guitar music I recorded back in 2006. That release will be part of the downloads for purchase on my Store page.
A decent amount of music to offer here to wrap up 2021!!
A new album or original songs will be recorded between now and early 2022!!
Live performance dates will also be in the cards for 2022!! I'm very much looking forward to playing shows again!!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and I will update you again when there is more to tell.

Hey everybody! Hope you've all been well.
I've been busy here all in manner of things. Writing sessions for my second album is progressing. One song is finished entitled "Infuse". I posted the video here on the site for you to view. The second song is entitled "Let Those Old Things Die". I'm working up the lyrics and then I'll write the music.
The world looks like it's opening up for live music more and more. I'm looking forward to getting out there and performing my own songs. I've been performing covers for quite some time so now is the time to cover my own songs and focus more on original music. I may not totally discount playing cover gigs, but I've been there and done that so the time feels right to change musical direction and focus on creativity, as opposed to recreating.
I keep planning on stocking the Store here and I will let you know when it's all ready. Free downloads of songs will be posted as well as music you can purchase.
New things coming this year! Looking forward to bringing you all along, on this musical journey!

Hello everyone!
Hoping you all are well and staying safe and healthy. I have just about completed my new work space for my music and online music lesson creations.
2020 was a crazy year for all of us and I'm sure by now we have mostly adapted to the changes we've had to adopt in our lives.
I recorded all of my new and upcoming album over the course of a few weeks back in January last year and was gearing up to mix and master the album. Then COVID hit and I had to make decisions. I wasn't touched by the pandemic personally, thankfully, but many of my students were justifiably fearful. Continuing, at that time, with person to person lessons, which was my main job and source of revenue was a depleting option, so I had to roll with the changes. Music lessons went online via Zoom. I was able to retain a decent roster of people who wanted to continue with their lessons. The option was presented to relocate to a nearby town also came into view and the decision was made to take the opportunity and create our new residency.
Once we arrived I was personally involved in doing the home renovations myself, as hiring a contractor was not a safe option. My laboring on the multitude of projects, both inside and outside our new home and maintaining my teaching music lessons, took me away from finishing my music.
The time has come, as the hurried pace has slowed and the home projects are inches from completion, to resume the finishing touches on my CD/album. I look forward to making this music available and I will update you all again when the time comes!
